![]() ![]() This is the same for Adamantite Ore as well. A Titanium Forge or Adamantite Forge is required to smelt the ore into bars – a regular Hellforge does not suffice. The Metal Detector and its upgrades can at least identify when Titanium Ore is nearby, but the best way to quickly spot the specific ore is to use a Spelunker Potion. The Spelunker Glowstick, Magic Lantern, and similar "treasure detectors" will flag Titanium Ore, but will not distinguish between it and the many other ores that are much more common. The Minimap is not very helpful for locating Titanium Ore, since Lead Ore is marked with almost the same color on it.The grayish color makes Titanium harder to spot, and in dark areas it might even be mistaken for other ores like Platinum, Silver, or Lead ore – it is however very easily distinguishable from the Stone Blocks where Titanium possesses a much darker, almost tar-like texture. Whereas Adamantite has a distinctive red color, Titanium has a sparkling dark gray with minuscule spots of green and pink (when in clusters). Adamantite Ore can be much easier to locate than its counterpart Titanium Ore, due to the coloration.Titanium Ore, as well as Titanium Bars, can also be obtained by opening Crates, eliminating the need for a higher-tier pickaxe. On the Nintendo 3DS version, it can also be mined with a Palladium Drill. Like Adamantite, a Mythril Drill/ Orichalcum Drill (or their pickaxe equivalents) with 150% Pickaxe power or better is required to mine it. ![]() Titanium, like all Hardmode ores, is generated upon destruction of an Altar with a Pwnhammer or higher. ![]() Titanium Ore is a Hardmode ore which can possibly replace Adamantite in a given world and is functionally the same. ![]()
